Our Story

Compared to the cortex, our understanding of the white matter motor tracts that run beneath it is still in its early stages — and image-based techniques alone still fall short of the accuracy needed for confident, safe surgery near these pathways. NeuroTraxx grew out of this gap — work exploring how ultra-high-field structural and diffusion MRI could be turned into living, interactive 3D maps of the brain to better bridge pre-operative imaging and intraoperative navigation, built to support subcortical navigation, MER, and DBS workflows.

Vision

The map of the brain is still being drawn. Even today, researchers are uncovering new details about how the brain is wired — and every new discovery is a chance to navigate, treat, and understand it better.

We're building NeuroTraxx for that future: a tool that grows alongside the science, making the brain's wiring easier to see, explore, and act on — for the researchers and clinicians pushing the field forward today, and for whatever comes next.
